Nate Herth and Erica Merritt have been selected as our May Teaching Artists of the month! The Program Team at Arts Corps felt that Nate and Erica best demonstrated the following criteria:
- Are skilled and dedicated,
- Foster youth leadership,
- Produce a successful learning environment, and
- Communicate directly with Arts Corps Program staff if issues arise and seek support, when needed
Nate Herth has been working on arts integration through the Creative Schools Initiative for the past three years.
Erica Merritt has been teaching Choir and Glee with Arts Corps since 2008 at various Seattle schools and community centers.
