2026 DEAW Conference Scholarship Deadline

Dance Educators Association of Washington (DEAW) is excited to offer a limited number of scholarships to cover the registration fee for the 2026 spring conference on April 18! The AGG Scholarship honors Anne’s role as the founding President of DEAW and her many years of service as an exemplary dance educator.

Applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Professional development goals
• Alignment of teaching philosophy with the mission and goals of DEAW
• Plans to share knowledge gained from the conference with students and/or colleagues
• Professional accomplishments and/or service in the field of dance education

Preference will be given to DEAW members, first time conference attendees, and recent college graduates (within the past three years).

Review of applications will be completed by a panel of DEAW board members. Applications accepted thru March 15. Scholarship recipients will be notified by March 25.
