Our office pup, Zoe, just turned 5 years old last week! Zoe joined Arts Corps last May, when she first started accompanying Jéhan, Director of Arts Education, to the office and since then has greatly contributed to the wellbeing and happiness of the Arts Corps team and of visitors alike.
Zoe clocks in every Wednesday morning. At home, she prompts Jéhan to get their morning started and get them out the door. She rides on her bike-hitched trailer, rain or shine, to Youngstown, and once she’s in the office, she greets every person there one by one. Then, she settles in for the weekly staff meeting, where she gives her opinion through tail wags and head bumps. Zoe also attends many of our organization-wide events, alway serving as a grounding presence.
Zoe’s current favorite snack are homemade treats made out of peanut butter (she loves peanut butter), carrots, chicken stock, and wheat. She also really loves eating prosciutto and sharp cheese, which is a great way to win her affection. Her favorite activities include playing with tennis balls, gettin bootie scratches, and accompanying her humans on bike rides. She’ll even participate in SPT later this year! She does, however, hate canoeing.
Although now she enjoys the PNW life, Zoe is originally from Texas. She recently became an older sister, welcoming her cat brother, Worf son of Mogh, slayer of Gowron, into the family.
Happy birthday, Zoe!
