Lizzy Cordeau

Board Member

Lizzy Cordeau is a creative person, from a creative background, obsessed with sharing the value and fulfillment of art with people of all ages. Professionally, she is the founder of Moxie Fine Art, an artist representative firm showcasing the works of emerging female artists. Moxie is the culmination of Lizzy’s professional experience and her personal artistic passion. She founded Moxie after nearly 20 years as a manufacturer’s rep in the Interior Design industry, representing artisanal luxury brands to high end interior designers worldwide.

Having been raised in an artistic household, Lizzy has carried on this legacy, teaching her two daughters many different art techniques, their favorites being linocuts and watercolors. As a board member for their elementary school’s PTA, Lizzy worked as After School Enrichment Coordinator for two years, prioritizing scheduling non-technology-based arts and STEM classes to complement the school’s art and music programming. Being able to impact students’ added exposure to different types of art was incredibly fulfilling. That experience inspired Lizzy’s pursuit to find an arts-based board that could continue this work on a larger scale and to benefit a broader audience of students. She is thrilled to work with Arts Corps to expand their reach and publicize the incredibly important and impactful work they are doing around Seattle.
